Pakistan on Sunday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar and Balakot sectors of Mendhar sub-division in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Three civilians have been injured in the Pakistani firing and shelling in Balakot sector.
The ceasefire violation was reported at 03:15 pm after Pakistani troops initiated an unprovoked ceasefire by the intense firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Balakot and Mendhar sectors.
The Indian Army has been retaliating befittingly.
